The many ways to honour Ken Dryden

Many of his friends and family members, along with hockey fans and political enthusiasts, are still wrapping their heads around the sad reality that Ken Dryden is no longer in our lives.

Dryden died back in September, at just 78 years of age, after battling an unspecified form of cancer. Most people who knew him didn’t learn about it until after he died. Dryden appeared on one of the final episodes of The Agenda back in June, but was unable to attend the studio taping citing a painful back condition. None of us knew he was less than three months away from dying of cancer.

Dryden was such a multi-talented person; it’s no surprise that noteworthy tributes have poured in from the different sectors of his life. As a former member of parliament in the Toronto riding of York Centre, Dryden was feted in the House of Commons less than two weeks after his death.
